Success So Far on Radio
Battling through the holiday season is tough for any artist. Thanksgiving and Christmas include Christmas cuts aswell as Texas music and is difficult to get spins, and maintain through out, but thats just what Yesterdays Make-Up did. Currently after 15 weeks on the charts its setting at Number 65 on the Texas Regional Radio Report Top 100 Chart. (http://www.texasregionalradio.com/Top100.asp) A Reported 25% of Texas Stations are reporting spinning the record. At 15 weeks the single is drawing near the half way point of its life span. Its expected at the rate its going to hopefully break the top 50 in the next few weeks. At any point a single can start to die off, however, with it gaining momentum like it is (going from 81 to 72 in week 14 and 72 to 65 in week 15), hopes are high for breaking into the 50′s this week. The Chart reports every Friday. Check the link above to check and see where your other favorite artists are.

What is Yesterdays Make-Up About?
Yesterdays Make-Up is a very deep song. It tells the story of a girl, who just cant seem to get it right. She thinks she has found the perfect guy, holds her reservations and ends up realizing that, once again, she has not found Mr.Right. She wants so bad to have someone, to love someone, and she lays her heart on the line. She really isnt “easy”, she just wants, so bad, to find someone to love her, she is easily played. The guys say exactly what she wants to hear, and she falls for it every time. “I think women today understand this girl, because guys have become jerks, and its not hard to relate to a fictional girl who cant seem to find the right guy. I think the character comes across as a lovely girl, who just keeps falling into the grips of a hopeless love life, however, you cant get a hit, if you dont swing” -Donnie Evetts
First Verse
Opens her eyes, pulls back the covers
Sees a wine stain on a wrinkled red dress
Photographs of family, friends or lovers
A phone number with a lipstick kiss
Her heads about the size of Montana
Aint no Asprin in her purse
Runs cold water on a red bandana
Wraps it around her hair, just makes it worse
Chorus
Still wearing yesterdays make-up
All her things, gathered in one hand
Out of the door before he wakes up
Shes always picking the wrong man
Bridge
In this crazy world, shes just a girl
Who wants to belong, to find someone
Who she can love, who she can hold
Who sees into her soul, her tarnished heart of gold
Second Verse
From under a sky faded yellow
Fell through a rusty swinging door
Danced on a cloud with a hansome fella
But he wont call her anymore
She thought he was a horse of a different color
Swallowed lines from his lying mouth
But he turned out just like the others
No amount of works, gonna work it out
Tag Verse Three
Opens her eyes, pulls back the covers
On the table theres a golden ring
God knows what else she’ll discover
But she aint hanging around to see
