Weddings are your special day, they are important to the Bride, Groom, and families on both sides.
Music, and entertainment, whether its at the wedding, reception, or even a party that week, is sometimes a big part of the fun.
Because of the strict responsibilities of the special day, and special events, weddings are very tough to plan, and even harder to pull off, yet people seem to do it week in, and week out.
On the music side of a wedding, Donnie Evetts Band has played a vital role in many, many, many of these special events for 8 years. Donnie’s Viral Video for his hit “My Cinderella” has helped bill him on weddings since 2011.
However, due to the amount of requests, and the ever changing responsibilities, we must have a set of guidelines to help ensure, we take care of our responsibilities, and help give you the best event we can. To narrow our field, and also, help us before, during and after, these guidelines, and requirements, as well as the show we will have put together, need to be followed for all of the following types of shows.
Wedding Day, Before or After
Wedding Reception or Party day Before Wedding
Formal Wedding Party with Speeches, or limited venue accessability
If the party is because of a wedding, but technically can be considered not a part of the wedding, then the guidelines can be waived or changed. Technically speaking, if the guidelines cut out a part you feel is very important, we can discuss, but the price will most likely change with the requests.
In Central Texas any wedding event will be charged as a minimum of $1000.00 full band or $600.00 for Donnie Evetts Acoustic.
Every 50 miles from Brownwood will be an additional $50.00 rounded down to the nearest 50. i.e. a wedding event 120 miles away from Brownwood would only be a $100.00 Mileage Fee. (We only charge this fee to cover the fuel in the tour bus) We Do Not Require Rooms, so the cost would ultimately be offset for anyone around 100 to 150 miles away.
A 50% deposit up front will be needed to ensure the date. Until this deposit is made, the date is not booked, or saved, just tenative, and could ultimately be sold by a 7th Planet Entertainment Agent, or a Fireburn Entertainment Agent. We would try to give warning, but reserve the right to book without warning if the deposit has not been made. Once the deposit is made, the date is booked and solid. If the event is cancelled with in 45 days, the deposit will be non-refundable. If the event date is further than 45 days out, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. if cancelled 90 or more days out, full refund will be available.
Donnie Evetts Wedding Performance can be tailored to your desires. We will play any original requested, and will try to accommodate covers requested. Set time is a 2 hour straight show. i.e. 10pm to 12am, or 9pm to 11pm. You can choose any 2 hour period in the day, but the set is structured to 2 straight hours of entertainment. We can turn on the system and play music an hour before and an hour afterward if specified or requested.
If guests are eating when our show begins, that is fine, but we are not a background noise band. We have tried this for other purchasers, and we are just not that band. We are a get up and dance, enjoy the music, and have a good time band, but background noise is not our strong suit, and we prefer not to be hired for such an event. If you just have to have us for background music, it will need to be discussed and specified, and will be priced accordingly.
We must have 5 hours before the show allotted for set up and sound check. This is so we can use 3 hours for set up and sound check, and then time for the crew and members that set up to shower, and dress for the event. This can be done early in the morning to avoid disrupting the planned day, but must have at-least 3 hours in that case.
After the show, a minimum of 1.5 hours must be allotted for the crew to load out the equipment, by which time, the remainder of the payment must be made. We encourage you to have this payment ready, to make your day easier, we also will accept the final balance paid before the show, in the event the payee will be busy, occupied, or inebriated at the end of the show.
We must have somewhere to pull the bus not only to unload the equipment at a decent distance, but also somewhere to park the bus after load in. Where the bus would stay until load out.
We bring our own sound, lights, and equipment, making life easy for everyone. We only need 2 separate breakers to plug in to, and we request water and bud light beer for the stage. We can make content with a 12 pack of water and a 18 pack of bud light.
