All of my work is “work for hire”, meaning, I never get or take credit for the lyrics or music. You own my work 100% as if you did it yourself, and I will not have any claim to my work. The benefit for me is 1. the payment you make when you order the services, and 2. if something I do is really good, and blows up, you will be in a good position, and I would hope you hire me again! Work for Hire is not very common, so make sure if you hire someone else you ask if they are work for hire, and if they say yes, or what is that then you can explain. Also I would like to say probably best if you would go ahead and have them sign a work for hire sheet, which is not exactly an NDA, but is in a way. I would go to Legal Zoom or hire an attorney to draw up “IP Work For Hire Agreement”.

I read your lyrics, and give you a breakdown and review of your lyrics from a songwriters perspective. Of course, its only opinions, however, I break your lyrics down in a way easy to understand, and easy to see the points I am trying to make. What is and isnt important, and the unwritten song writers rules for writing a song. We discuss rhyme scheme, syllable balancing and a whole host of different criteria for determining if the song has issues or not.

Let’s say you want me to help you finish your song, or you hired me for lyric review and we had some issues. This is where we fix the lyrics, and get them ready. I either write, or show you exactly what line(s) needs attention and what the potential rhyme should be. . . or options we have for replacing inferior lines. A good line is only good if its in the rhyme scheme or the bridge!

So you have lyrics, but no music, and no official way to sing the lyrics to unwritten music. Maybe you have a melody in your head, but no music yet. This is where you would order music. I write the music, and we keep going until you're satisfied. I am able to do this, by writing snippets and getting your approval to move forward. I write the vocal melody at the same time. By the time the song is finished, I send you a cell phone video of me playing your completed song. It’s Cell phone quality and not to a click track. This is because it lightens the load on me by doing it this way, keeps the price manageable for you, and for anyone who wants to take their song further, there are more services for that below should you decide to continue. I guess it’s also a way to keep folks from spending money they don’t have or want to spend. Easier for me, cheaper for you. Plus, all a studio will need is the cell phone video to fully record the song. They won’t need anything else.

Ok, so your song Is finished, and you love it. Now it is time to record it. If you are going to record it full band, you should skip this service, unless you want to have 2 final versions of the same song. However, there are some reasons for having two, it’s very rare. My entire catalog only has 3 songs where I did an acoustic version and a full band version. Acoustic Demo is where I go to the studio and we actually cut a studio quality acoustic demo. It’s much cheaper because the studio is cheaper, less instruments, less editing, less work, thus, cheaper price.

This is where the finale comes to call home. All the hard work of writing the song, editing, writing the music and vocal melody, etc comes down to this. Finally we get to the studio. If you have an idea, but are not a song writer, I can write you a custom song. Either for a special purpose or whatever reason. There are 3 levels, Custom Lyrics, Custom Lyrics and music, and Custom Lyrics Music and Recordings. On recordings it can be Acoustic or Full Band.
